In the second class, two simple new techniques to help build focus will be offered. “Tratak” is candlegazing, a very effective form of mindful meditation done with the eyes open. And “mantra” means “mind release” in Sanskrit, and it consists of the repetition of a phrase in time with your breath. Both of these techniques are helpful for keeping you in the present and for filtering out distractions. (Please bring a candle to this session.)
Join this class on Monday at 12:15pm PT, and then reinforce what you learn in an optional practice session on Thursday at 9am PT. When you enroll in this class, you're automatically enrolled in the practice session, too.
