This class is inspired by one of the essential truths of the traditions that our meditation practices come from: to see the benefits of meditation, you need a community practicing with you. Being with other people who are wrestling with the same kinds of challenges as you are gives you a sense of connection that amplifies the power of your meditation practice - especially if you talk about those challenges.

We'll begin each class with a conversation among the students, facilitated by the teacher, to give you the opportunity to share whatever is weighing on you - or delighting you! - about life or your meditation practice. Then, the teacher will offer a guided meditation based on what has come up in the group.

Each Sunday will stand alone, and will be a never-to-be-repeated experience that unfolds spontaneously, authentically, and organically within the group. Led by a different WITHIN teacher each week, your guide may use the check-in with each of the participants to inspire discussion, and/or provide an offering to inspire sharing, whether it's a teaching, a story, poem or reading, a piece of music, or anything else. And each circle will end with a brief guided meditation, crafted by the teacher to reflect the needs of the group.

The purpose of this class is very much connection & community; it is a safe and respectful space to be heard and acknowledged no matter how you are showing up. All feelings, perspectives, and levels of participation are welcome.
